It’s Fair Trade Friday! Can you believe that it’s almost November already? We’ve been so busy working on something really BIG that our month has flown by and we’ve been MIA a bit here on the blog and social media! But, we are almost DONE (more info. and a big announcement coming soon) and are back again!
Today I want to feature one of our newest MEN’S Ethical fashion items! When Luke and I were at Inspire this past August, he was gifted our new Venture Cap! He participated in “Bros of Hope”, which is a chance for the men and husbands of Trades of Hope to hang out and talk about their wives’ (or there) business and how they can best support them. Luke had an excellent time… what he learned has even strengthened our marriage!
When he was gifted this hat, we didn’t know it was going to be launched in the Fall 2018 line… it was such a pleasant surprise to be one of the first ones to have it! When he first came out of his session wearing it, me and a lot of the other ladies were admiring it and hoped it would at least be available for us as Compassionate Entrepreneurs!
Once we found out it was for sale, I ran right out to get some photos of him wearing it! He’s such a cute model. 🙂 Keep scrolling to see all the pics and learn more about the artisans who make this hat!
This black canvas hat is accented with a sleek leather bill and hints of gold on the adjustable closure. It’s made by some of our artisans in India!
The women we partner with in India do so much more than just create beautiful products. With every purchase, another woman is empowered out of poverty to be self-reliant! Women have the opportunity to earn an income, attend financial management classes, and receive education and healthcare. These women are now able to give their family a promising future because of your purchase!
Purchase this piece and empower a woman in India!
As you can see here in this pic, there is a little tag on the back that says Trades of Hope! I love that they kept the hat simple and versatile by not putting anything on the front, but also snuck in this little tag so we can spread the word about Trades of Hope just by wearing it!
Luke likes to wear his hats backward because he doesn’t think he has the head/face shape that’s right for a hat. I think he looks cute both ways!
We couldn’t not get a pic by the pool, right? This hat works everywhere.
Not only does Luke love this hat and wears it often, but I do too! I think I wear it more than him, actually. 😉 It’s a great unisex item, so go ahead, buy it for “him”. 😉
Handcrafted by artisans in India, each of these items helps to empower men and women out of poverty by creating a sustainable source of income. In addition, artisans can grow their knowledge and skills through opportunities for training and education. Give him a gift that invests in the future!
