I thought it was finally time to talk about our Kindred Tote–which is made in India! This was gifted to all of us Compassionate Entrepreneurs for FREE at our annual Trades of Hope conference, along with some other Fall 2018 line goodies! (Perks of being a Compassionate Entrepreneur, among many others!) I hadn’t done any photos with it yet, so I decided to bring it out while we were visiting Savannah, GA in September! I love that it’s such a light tote, and I was able to fold it up and throw it in our suitcase so easily! It folds up so well that I threw it in my backpack so we could take some pics with it while we adventured around Savannah! Keep reading to learn more about this tote, my other accessories, and the artisans who make them!
We tried to get to this iconic spot in Savannah when there weren’t a lot of people there, and we did pretty good I think! Also, as you can see, I went for comfy and simple for the rest of my outfit! Since were going to be doing a lot of walking I had to go for my yoga sling sandals so my back and feet weren’t yelling at me by the end of the day!
I loved this little bridge we found covered in Ivy! There was no one over here so it felt like our own special gem we found that day!
This tote is made from cotton, mixed metal, and has faux leather handles.
In India, poverty is rampant and fair working conditions are hard to find. But with every purchase, women are receiving an income, access to healthcare, adult literacy programs, and self-help groups! Not only does this change their lives, but they are also pouring back into their communities and helping others! You have the opportunity to empower thousands of women in India!

Next is my Legacy Necklace, which matches the tote perfectly! I was given this necklace at the Trades of Hope conference in 2017! This Y shaped necklace features an ethically collected bone and resin, cream and grey chevron pendant that distributes 20 strands of shimmering fringe.

In the Philippines, finding employment as a woman in poverty can be extremely difficult. Poor working conditions, lack of job security, and unfair pay are often the realities. Through your purchase, these women are receiving an income, health care, and social development programs. This allows these women to realize their potential and pursue their dreams in a safe environment. You have the opportunity to change lives!

Last but not least is my trusty Warrior Cuff! This brass gold, hammered, stacked cuff opens in the back.
